The International Research Symposium of the University of Vocational Technology (IRS UoVT 2025)
offers a unique forum for academics and researchers from both Sri Lanka and overseas to present and discuss their research findings across a wide range of disciplines.
The event will feature six parallel technical sessions and six panel discussions, all scheduled for 12th December 2025.
The organizing committee of IRS UoVT 2025 is pleased to invite academics and researchers to
submit their research finding to be presented at the conference.
Exploring strategies for embedding environmental and social sustainability concepts, such as gender equity, inclusiveness, and addressing vulnerabilities in TVET
Discussing advancements in management strategies and technological innovations that improve resource efficiency while promoting sustainability and cost-effectiveness across various sectors
Investigating the role of AI and IoT in optimizing processes, enhancing decision-making, and improving products and services through smart and sustainable solutions
Presenting research on sustainable innovations in manufacturing, construction, and service industries that minimize environmental hazards while fostering economic and social well-being in areas such as education, agriculture, food security, tourism, and hospitality
Examining the impact of modern digital technologies on creative sectors such as media, design, performing arts, fashion, and cosmetology
Encouraging cross-disciplinary collaborations that foster open dialogue, knowledge sharing, and creative solutions to global challenges
Researchers, academics, and industry professionals are invited to submit research papers and case studies relevant to the symposium's theme and subthemes. Accepted papers will be published in the symposium proceedings and selected high-impact papers will have the opportunity to be featured in peer-reviewed journals.
